Shiva Ebrahimi Kordestani was born and raised in an educated family in Iran. Her mom was a teacher and her dad was a general in Shahs army in Iran. She graduated with a chemical engineering degree in Tehran and worked 3 years at a pharmaceutical factory and was teaching Chemistry for 3 years in Tehran . In 1997 she was married and moved to the US where she started her new journey. She raised two responsible children while teaching them Iranian & Kurdish culture, language and traditions. She helped and assisted her husband with his construction company at the same time. She was volunteering both financially and physically in several foundations and charities as of Board member or Committee member like MAP( Moms Against Poverty), IAWF ( Iranian American Women Foundation) , Diaspora Art, Nica and Roya foundation for more than ten years.She is so happy and proud to be helpful to her community, and she will continue.
